as you can well see this group is currently in process of being constructed...
for the curious i have post below the blog post that gave birth to this idea.
so in honour of my new e-reader i decided to convert some of my favorite online stories into epubs for my own personal enjoyment, and i must say there is nothing like having something tangible in your hands that you can browse and 'flip' through like a book.
But in essence it got me thinking, what if there was a way to draw tg artist and tg writers stories and works into one giant directory of easily downloadable free media for ones enjoyment on such wonderful devices such as e-readers, laptops and other digital interfaces?
Then i though, what if it when one step further and freely 'published' compilations of works by upcoming writers and artist for the reader to get a taste of different writing and art styles through this showcase of sorts?
of course it hit me then like being struck by my old 87 dodge truck after its parking brake slipped, "i could do this!"
so for those of you still following me, i plan to create a large collection of readily available e-books and e-comics as permitted by the authors of the works; and provide support and promotion for such work if applicable through the creation of cover art and compilation books of shorter stories from various author, and then 'publish' these readily downloadable e-books to a easily navigable gallery.
In essence it would be a completely free, for both user and creator, 'publishing' digital media service.
Ok so for any question please comment, i love hearing ideas, concerns, and other such feedback,
plus if anybody feels this is a great idea and even have some works they want to 'publish' in the flagship launch please let me know.
just to recap:
-the goal is to allow artists and writers of tg related media to spread there recognition and allow readers to easily navigate, acquire, and enjoy tg related media.
-it will be 100% free
-it will not under any circumstances infringe on the rights of the artist and writers
-it will have works that follow the guidelines of DA's submission policies (ie no smut, or likewise inappropriate material[if you want pron go to the chans])
-it will allow writers to brag about their works in a semi-professional manner
-it will allow writers with out access or monetary foundation to get their books illustrated to an extent (ie cover art)
-it will allow artist with out access or monetary foundation to get scripts from charitable writers
-it will alsso allow a feeling of organisation and sense of family among its contributers
